Through oil painting, theatrical imagery, and surreal visual narratives, Augusto Yanacopulos creates immersive compositions that challenge the boundaries between reality, memory, mythology, and the subconscious.

Stage Design
& Theater

In addition to his work as a visual artist, Augusto Yanacopulos has developed an extensive career in theater as a set designer, scenic painter, lighting designer, and actor. As co-founder of Aguijón Theater of Chicago, his theatrical work has become an essential part of the company’s visual identity and artistic legacy.
